Mardi, where were you when you saw the Northern Lights?
Bry, thanks for the vitamin tip and the book, The Tenderness of Wolves (did I get the title right?) was good. It wasn't one that I was completely absorbed in but I looked forward to picking it up every night.
I asked around about wildlife today. Bears, beavers, one of the little weasel creatures, that was the list I was given. Apparently I have to go farther out of town than the golf course to see them:)

Laurie - I saw the Northern Lights over Georgian Bay about 45 minutes out from Parry Sound by boat. It was lovely and remote - you couldn't see any other cottages. Scary at times though when the storms whipped up and nature reared her powerful head.
