This is a shot taken down the street and into the campgrounds. I think it was around 7 in the evening when I was out walking that day. If I walk to the north I am heading into town. There is a path along the river that used to
be a road but the bank is not stable enough to support vehicles any more. If I walk south I head right out of town. The Pentacostal church at the south end of the street. I believe the population is around 12oo. Fort Simpson is an island community but access off the island is available most times of the year either on the ice road or on the ferry.
